MY society, is about love, peace, and unity. The name of my Utopian Society is Peace-Treat. The reason for choosing this name is to enforce my society to be a place where only Love, Peace and Unity exist.

Subtle Insidiousness of White Privilege. The first time some one suggested that I, as a white female settler person, experienced an inherent privilege, I was offended. Was in an Alternative to Violence community circle not that long ago. Talk about a mixed crowd. Talk about a smack up the side of the head kind of learning experience. Medicine Lodge Indian Peace Treaty. A celebration of the history and heritage of Medicine Lodge, Kansas. September 28, 29 and 30, 2018. The reenactment of the history surrounding the signing of the peace treaty is the main event. Attending a powwow gives spectators the opportunity to learn more about the history of Native Americans by witnessing a centuries-old tradition.
